Cecil Carroll Henslee, 93 of 906 Calhoun St., Johnston SC, formerly of Seneca, SC passed away Thursday July 1, 2010. He was the son of the late Joseph Hiram and Mamie Irene Bingham Henslee and the husband of the late, Janie Mae Bearden Henslee. He is survived by a son, Joseph Henslee of Durham, NC, a daughter, Sandra Jane Landers of Johnston, SC, a brother, Claud Henslee of Charleston, SC, a sister, Merry Ruth Johnson of Greenville, SC, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Mr. Henslee was a Past Master and a member of the Seneca Masonic Lodge #185, Hejaz Temple, and Eastern Star. He was also a member of Return Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday July 4, 2010 at 2:00pm at the Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jack Couch officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00pm Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in the Return Baptist Church Cemetery.
