| Samuel Compton Whitworth, Jr. ,57, of 207 Tully Dr. died Wednesday, July 13, 2010. He was born in Athens, GA and was the son of, Samuel Compton Whitworth, Sr. and Carolyn Chandler Whitworth. He is survived by: His wife, Marcella Martin Whitworth of the home. Sons, Daniel and Levi Whitworth both of Norfolk, VA. A daughter, Angela Whitworth of Lynchburg, VA. A brother, John Douglas Whitworth of Atlanta, GA. A sister, Niolex O’Brien of Piedmont, SC. A grandson, Dylan Whitworth. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday July 18, 2010 at Corinth Baptist Church 530 Old Clemson Hwy. The family will receive friends 12:30 to 1:45 Sunday at the church before the service.
