Obituary for Janet Lynne Martin

Janet Lynne Tucker Martin
Went home to be with her lord and savior Monday July 1 st. Jan was born on August 20 th , 1963 In Fort Jackson In Columbia. Jan was a lifetime resident of Seneca. She was a teacher in her early years but later she chose to be a stay at home mom. Jan is survived by her husband of 33 years. Danny and Jan had two special boys Ian and Chase (Anna) – her most precious gift was Kennedy AKA – Krae – Who called her Grandma AKA Honey Bunny. She Is survived by her sister Carol Winkler of Seneca – David Tucker.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents (NON) Earle Mae Kelley and her
paternal grandparents Sam and Anna Tucker older sister – Glenda Owens. Her brother Gaylon Ray and James Larry. When she finished school, she met her one and only Danny Boy who was a motorcycle black
jacket, one earing wearing a heavy medal rocker who swept Jan off her feet. The only thing Ray Willie Mae did not like him, but Jan married Danny and Mom and Dad fell in love with Danny Boy. Raising 2 boys her and Danny had a home that became the neighborhood hang out for the Cherry Street Boys. Still today Jan’s home Is still the neighborhood hang out and will always
be. Jan love being a mom not only to Ian and Chase but to everyone. Jan was a favorite Aunt to all her Nieces and Nephews to most of them that are here today. Jan was the baby of the family and to her brother David and to her sister Carol. She was a
spoiled little girl who we cater to and love and will be missed. One thing that Jan loved was her animals was Bandit and Dixie Mae and her cats Roger and
Bob the no tail. Today we thank you for coming and remembering our sweet Jan. Jan fought a long and hard battle and she never complain. And on Monday she met Jesus and Heaven open the doors
and when Jesus steps aside she met her Mom and Dad and her family in heaven. Though she will be missed greatly we know she will rejoice with her heavenly father.
