Obituary for Thomas Pittman Chandler

Thomas Pittman Chandler was born January 3, 1931 in Toombs County Georgia.
He was raised in south Georgia by the late James Wylie and Annie Tate Chandler.
He resided in Oconee County, South Carolina for the last 45 years. He leaves behind his wife Judy, seven children, eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Chandler was honorably discharged from the United States Army after serving in the Korean War, and continued to serve in the United States Army Reserves for many years following.
Funeral Services will be held at the Anderson Veterans Cemetery where Mr. Chandler will receive full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Seneca, South Carolina.
The family will receive friends at the home of George R. Chandler, Sr. at 841 Hawk Ridge Dr. Westminster, SC immediately following the service.
Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home is assisting the family.
